Wednesday's Watching Part I
Willie's Wonky Chocolate Factory episode 3. British docu-drama/reality something or other. Guy bought a cacao farm in Venezuela and wants to turn this into a chocolate business in the UK. First episode showed him feeding a truffle to his dog, so I was turned off right from the start. Yet I'm still watching. He's arrogant and not very personable, and most of the recipes he does I'll never ever eat, let alone make, since they mostly involved meat, fish or other ingredients I don't eat. But I guess it's taught me more about chocolate, for whatever that's worth. Only one episode left anyway.
Survivor: Pseudo-Fans versus Pseudo-Favorites. Stupid basketball tomorrow, so Survivor was on tonight. Don't know why I watch this. It's pretty boring. They wore out the premise 10 seasons ago. Turn it into Survivor Alaska or Survivor Space Station and maybe it'll be fresh again. The part that was always interesting to me was setting up camp, catching food, etc. But that's a minor part nowadays, since 1) Too much time is taken up with stupid challenges and scheming and 2) The game changes so often and they're only there for 30 days anyway, that they have no motivation to make a really good camp.
South Park. Well, I'm typing this during South Park, so you can see how much I'm paying attention to that. Not one of the better episodes. One I'd actively skip, actually. Headless Britney Spears? Right. Whatever.
