I’m Sorry, Was that a Twist?
Spoilers below the cut for the episode of Medium that just aired tonight.
Come on! Seriously! Okay, the elevator scene at the end was amusing, but it was obvious about 5 minutes into the episode!
It was totally telegraphed that it was a guy. First Allison makes the not-amusing comment that Ms. Cougar was acting like a man. Then cop dude whose name I can’t recall said that a woman wouldn’t have been strong enough for the type of attack, or something like that.
Allison’s visions have proven to be unreliable as to who the murderer is, so it didn’t even occur to them once that maybe they’d better stop looking exclusively for an older blonde chick?
In what 2008 world is teh gei unexpected?
If the cougar had turned out to be a chimp, then maybe I would’ve been surprised.

It’s like the crappy Meg Cabot mystery I just finished.
They keep saying they’re looking for some jerkish frat boy type. Except they haven’t introduced any yet. And what’s the one thing the victims have in common? Something in their files about meeting with a certain person, who is close to the amateur sleuth and doesn’t seem at all the type. Which means, of course, that they /must/ be the one so there can be huge drama at the end. There would’ve been no drama if they’d finally found some random frat boy culprit.
