Dunkin Donuts Update
Today I ordered 24 Munchkins, jelly and glazed. Though the slip says 25, I swear the menu said 24.
I was given 17 or 18 glazed. (I forget exactly how many I ate before work.)
Horrendous disparity, don’t you think?
Except that I can’t complain, because I have 14 jelly.
I want that chick counting my donuts all the time!

I wonder if they don’t count the donut holes so much as try to fill the 24/25-sized box. In which case, glazed and jelly are the way to go, because, at least in this region of the country, neither of them are round. They tend to be smooshed a bit flat. Meaning, I think, that they take up less room in the box than their rounder, less tasty cousins.
A theory to be tested with repeated experimentation!
