Dad told me about this fan group that was making new TOS episodes. They've got one episode up on their site, but the second should be going up shortly. They've even gotten Gene Roddenberry's son on board as a producer.
It's interesting, check it out.

The first ep is up on bit torrent here. It's about 100 megs.. surprisingly small for the length of it. Once you download it, be sure to watch the teaser first before the acts. (They're separate files.)
This is not a parody, but there are humorous bits of course. It's at least as interesting as any Enterprise episode.

So I've been trying to keep my booklist updated, but I've been lazy about creating affiliate links. I don't know as they were actually doing any good anyway. So.. I have to read 7 more books by the end of the month to catch up to where I was last year. Time to borrow some manga. :)

This blog layout is way old. It's at least a year, I think. I could probably go check for the exact date, but I don't wanna. Anyway.. now's your chance to suggest a theme for my next layout! I've had a few ideas in passing, but none that ever really sparked me to change the layout. I really like this current layout. In fact, I may end up just making the Flash better now that I'm more 1337 and stuff.
But.. anyway.. post a comment if you've got some ideas for a layout.

My wish list of things that exist but that I can't afford.
* Takarazuka DVDs (vhs, records, cds, lds)
* Any Harry Potter book in Japanese on audio cd
* Other Takarazuka merchandise (to start a collection I can't afford to have)
* Decent graphics tablet
* Laptop or verrrry nice computer (because a computer on a list like this is obligatory)
* Intermediate-advanced really good Japanese language software
* While we're at it, Chinese or Korean would be good too
* Bewitched in Tokyo
(Bts for any of the above are welcome substitutes!)

One of the links from my class was to Flash Forward. It's a conference on Flash and they do awards. So I was checking out some of the past award winners and this game is frustrating. As much as I'd hate to hear someone beat the game before I do, I think I want help. :)

Blogger, blogger, hate hate hate.
Here's my quiz results:
You are an SECF--Sober Emotional Constructive Follower. This makes you a hippie. You are passionate about your causes and steadfast in your commitments. Once you've made up your mind, no one can convince you otherwise. Your politics are left-leaning, and your lifestyle choices decidedly temperate and chaste.
You do tremendous work when focused, but usually you operate somewhat distracted. You blow hot and cold, and while you normally endeavor on the side of goodness and truth, you have a massive mean streak which is not to be taken lightly. You don't get mad, you get even.
Please don't get even with this web site.

Yea, that sounds about right.
