Okina decided he was doing suckily at MGS2 and started over. So I get to watch and report on the random slashy moments, of which there are many.

1. Snake has left the military. Problems with don’t ask, don’t tell? Otacon — chattering randomly at the beginning of a fairly tense mission — comments on how nice privacy is. Then he proceeds to nag Snake about ruining his health with cigarettes.
2. Now, most men tend to focus on a woman’s breasts when they first look them over, but they don’t have much trouble focussing on another man’s face. Snake, on the other hand… I’m not that interested in staring at the crotches of videogame characters, thank you, Snake. Stoppit.
3. There are random pictures of women around, as one might expect, but strangely there are also posters of scantily clothed men scattered about too. One magazine rack even features a magazine with the naked torso of a man on the cover and titled “Straight”. Yeah. Right.
4. Vamp. ’nuff said.

Now we’re at the part with Raiden and he’s not quite as interesting. At least not to me.
